At Zonecamps the focus is on the camper’s well-being. The environment turns into a world that is designed for kids, while being safe in all respects. The most important aspect of this safety is trust. The trust that is built between the campers and their leaders goes far beyond the week of camp. Campers are not quick to forget their leaders, and this is something we know. Because of our location, campers don’t need to feel that they come for one week of camp, then forget everything that happens. Their leaders are often easily found in or around London, as well as in other church activities. Zonecamps (Zone 1, Zone 2 and Zone 3) are held at the church facility (750 Wonderland Rd. N.). Program begins each morning at 9am, and finishes at 4pm. Extended hours (8-9am, 4-5pm) are available for an extra fee of $5/day. These three weeks are for children entering grades 1-6. Each day includes electives, games, Bible time, small group times, activities, tuck, and as much fun stuff as we can pack into the time we have. Children will be paired with one counselor for the entire week, which encourages lasting bonds amongst campers and their leaders. ZonecampsNANO is a new camp this year for Junior or Senior Kindergarten students that we are really excited about! It is held at West London Alliance Church (750 Wonderland Rd. N.) and program begins each morning at 9am, finishing at 2pm. Unfortunately, there are no extended hours available for this camp. Each camper needs to be toilet trained and entering Junior or Senior Kindergarten in September 2010. ZonecampsNANO will offer many of the same, but age appropriate, activities as Zonecamps so that the campers will have a similar experience as their older siblings. Each day will include games, Bible time, small group time, tuck, water/sprinkler activities and as many amazing and fun activities that we can find the time to do at camp.
